Snell Golf has announced the upcoming release of two new urethane golf ball models, the PR3 and PR4—short for Performance Refined—representing the next evolution of the company’s performance-focused lineup. The new models build upon the foundation of previous offerings with improvements in materials, manufacturing processes, and consistency.
Developed for golfers seeking premium performance at a better value, both models were engineered with a focus on improved durability and tighter production tolerances, resulting in more consistent performance from ball to ball.

“The goal with PR3 and PR4 was to build on the core performance golfers already trusted and make it more consistent and durable—without sacrificing anything,” said Dean Snell, founder of Snell Golf. “We invested heavily in tooling and manufacturing to tighten production tolerances while maintaining the speed, feel, and performance golfers expect—at the value they’ve come to rely on from Snell. With rising costs in raw materials and global manufacturing, we’re seeing some golf balls approach $60 per dozen. From the beginning, my goal has been to deliver exceptional performance at an accessible price. With PR3 and PR4 in the mid-$30’s range, we’ve stayed true to that commitment.”

PR3
The PR3 is a three-piece urethane golf ball designed to deliver balanced performance across distance, durability, and control. It features a new thinner TPU-X urethane cover that allows for improved greenside spin while improving durability. The thicker mantle and smaller core deliver low driver spin, faster ball speeds, and longer distances.
With a compression range of 80–85, the PR3 is designed to appeal to a wide range of golfers, particularly players with mid-range swing speeds seeking strong overall performance and value.
It is offered in white and new, more vibrant, optic yellow color.

PR4
The PR4 is a four-piece urethane golf ball designed for golfers seeking higher ball speed with optimized iron and greenside control. The construction features a new TPU-X cover for increased greenside spin and control, along with an strengthened inner mantle layer to help maintain ball speed throughout the bag.
With a compression range of 85–90, the PR4’s overall design is intended to provide a slightly firmer feel and a slightly lower flight for players with moderate to higher swing speeds.
It is offered in white and new, more vibrant, optic yellow color.
Pricing and Availability
Both models will carry a retail price of $34.99 per dozen, offered with volume-based pricing to as low as $32.99 per dozen. This continues Snell Golf’s commitment to delivering premium urethane golf ball performance at a price point below many competing urethane models.
Production of the new balls is already underway, with pre-sale expected on SnellGolf.com beginning April 15, 2026. Orders are expected to begin shipping the week of April 20–24.
